Staff Reduction

Post by Ed Woychowsky » Wed Nov 03, 2010 7:58 pm

It was a tragedy, fourteen people killed by a disgruntled former coworker who shot himself when the police arrived.

Fourteen families mourning.

Fourteen families a little bit smaller.

Twenty-eight life insurance policies paying death benefits, fourteen for the families and fourteen for the company. A tragic windfall.

All because a mentally unstable worker was let go.

Who knew that he would snap and kill fourteen of his coworkers? Other than me that is?

For the cost of psychological evaluations and employer paid life insurance policies the company is well in the black. I've definitely earned my bonus this year.
