Lucifoul Victor: A Drabble in Haiku Form

Post by cammoblammo » Sun Oct 05, 2008 1:38 pm

Gather around, children, for the story must be told: although many will deceive you with tales of chainsaw-wielding elephants and napalm-bleeding cephalopods you must know what really happened on that fateful day in 2008 when Lucifoul (most glorious, may his name be ever praised) mastered his foes with no more than a mere gaze.

Listen, and wonder....

Lucifoul Victor: A Drabble in Haiku Form

Hellaphant sees Squid.
Teleportation is seen
By genius Owl.

Lucifoul pops out
Of our plane of existence
Waiting for Raptor.

Reptile searches, caught!
By Owl's captivating stare.
He moves to the squid.

Hellaphant appears
His bulk lands on Squid Vicious.
The anarchist dies.

Pachyderm is hurt
Infantile squid and napalm
Enter his belly.

Agony causes
Hellaphant to miss Raptor
Who charges his way.

Raptor strikes with force
Hellaphant cannot fight back
Now, only two left.

The raptor eyes Owl.
He will not be caught again.
He charges---but look!

Many owls. Machine
And animal can't agree.
Robot hangs; Owl wins!
It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat.

Good work. I'll give it my style points.
You're my quasi-ichthian angel, you're my half-amphibian queen...

The Dribblecast, we don't care if you sound like an idiot.

Actually, it totally deserved style points. Had this been on the show and given style points (45 votes) Lucifoul still wouldn't have been able to wing it- but it's the thought that counts. er, or didn't count. :(

Truly Lucifoul was the most artful muse of the finalists; culture flowed from him like so much molten lead vomit. We were all robbed of an aesthetically astute future by the Hellaphant voting contingent. A pox on them and their world of grays and scribble lines.
