One of those damn Mall Kiosks

Post by Hatching Phoenix » Fri Feb 04, 2011 1:25 am

I hurried past the kiosk in the mall, trying not to make eye contact. The attendants wore crisp suits and plastic smiles. They frightened me a bit. I had heard the rumors, and I'm not very religious in any case. The booth had a backdrop featuring a photo of a placid sunset over an ocean glacier. It was loaded down with slick pamphlets and faux leather bound hardback books. One of the minders stepped in front of me holding a pamphlet. Damn, I thought to no one in particular.
"Excuse me," he said. "Have you heard the call of Cthulhu?"

Early morning reaction: "Why? What did Scott Fitzgerald ever do to you?"
Never judge anyone until you have biopsied their brain.
