Exeligmos.
Exeligmos.
He had to see them all. For years he’d been chasing total solar eclipses across the globe, obsessed with chasing the fleeting umbra of the Moon across the darkened landscape. No saros was too obscure, no location or war-torn banana republic was too remote. The Shadow had touched his soul, a direct confirmation of the hulking enormity of the universe and his puniness in relation to it… and then time travel was invented, upping the game. All of history was now open season. Watch for Him in crowds gathered awaiting the Shadow to pass, and you may see Him, waiting.

Needs paragraph breaks.
I chase shadows for a pastime,
everywhere, every-when.
They say I kill the timeline,
as if that's such a sin.

This is could be the basis of a really cool short story - you should write it!
