Feeding Time.

Post by Astroguyz » Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:48 pm

They’d never been this far out in the spiral arms before. For eons they’d been content, skimming the radiation rich core for bloated supergiant stars. Many scoffed at their journey through the void between the spiral arms, through the bow shocks of old supernova remnants bordered with the ancient relics of globular clusters. But they were young and eager to carve out a niche of their own. Plus, these inner worlds in the Moving Cluster ahead offered a grand selection of ice giants bounded by failed protostars… and the rocky worlds salting the stellar rims were, after all, good roughage.
