Stay Warm this Christmas. (Holiday Stories Theme)
His “Naughty” list was growing longer every year. His Santaticians calculated in 20 years there’d be no point in even keeping a list, let alone checking it twice.
He was okay with that.
Since the economy had switched from mining to fracking, he’d been stockpiling as much coal as he could. Today, he had enough lumps to fill everyone’s stockings a thousand times over.
But why give it away when it’d be so much more fun to watch it burn?
People didn’t believe in Santa Claus anymore. They didn’t believe in global warming, either.
All that was about to change.

Not the Christmas we asked for, but the Christmas we deserve.
This is awesome.

Thanks. My wife works for the EPA, so fracking is a constant conversation at our house. The first line came to me when I was walking the dogs. 30 minutes after sitting down to type, it was done. Definitely the fastest one of these I've ever written.
