I'm please with this drabble. It's funny because it's sad. It's sad because it's true.

Robins, bad news. . . . No, no need to work late again. In fact. . . . We don't use the term “layoff” anymore. . . . Sudden? Actually, you haven't worked here since Monday. . . . No, no. We've never had anyone do your job so well. . . . Of course not, everyone in the office loves you. . . . Please understand. You're just not in our budget anymore. . . . Yes, we did just hire Brad last week. . . . Because we needed to fill an important position. . . . Yours.
Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.
