In strange aeons
Terrible tentacles writhing filled the tank’s gun sight. Sunken R’lyeh had suddenly arisen, just outside Wilmington North Carolina, and Captain Jones’ unit was the only thing between dread Cthulhu and land fall. Deep inside he knew his actions were futile, that if he was lucky he would be dead soon, but he would not surrender to the madness without a fight. He aimed for the head and pulled the trigger –boom- he heard a shriek like the universe ripping asunder. In his sight he saw the abomination collapse and sink. It seems man has come far in those strange aeons.

Yep, giant tacos (and other abundant fatty foods) have more confirmed kills than Cthulhu.
That's what the giant amorphous blob of super mega food corps wants you to think.
Welcome aboard, Tacosgigante!

I submit that the mega food corps *are* R'lyeh, with their eldritch R&D labs and non-Euclidean legal departments.
Also: great drabble, Taco.
