More Happy Thoughts, Dammit!

Her dreams of late were becoming too real. It seemed as though every bad thing she saw at night she'd see again on the news in the following days. She had to be getting depressed again. She shook herself and put on the "play want we want" station as she pulled into the freeway. She'd talk to Doctor Van Ives this week, and everything would be fine.

She absently nodded her head to Europe as she sat in traffic, inspecting scenery. Her eyes fell on a peculiar tree. So regular, so symmetrical. Just like the old films of mushroom clou-

I like this one. Nice setup, good conclusion and pretty tight form. The only criticism I would make is I don't know what a "play want we want" station is. It seems to be a bit of a distracting line.
