Edgewise

Post by unseentangerine » Tue Oct 14, 2014 6:51 am

Today, I saw a child put a cat into a hollowed out pumpkin; got me thinking: Do you remember that night when the sun came out? And all the igneous rock was heated into obsidian, and Sharon and the mole people were forced to settle for vanilla because their rock stacking art was ruined? Well, toothpaste is toothpaste, but it's not worth messing up rock art, right? Anyway, it could only have been appreciated as a performance piece; twirling and yellow scarves and all.
Oh! Uh, hello. I thought you were just being quiet on the other end.

Nice.

Reminds me of some of nonsense monologues I've had when on hold for whatever (tech support, phone ordering). Just in case someone at whatever company I'm on hold for might really be listening, just to mess with whoever it might be.
And thus ends my $.02. :)
