Inside, Looking Out.

Post by ROU Killing Time » Mon Nov 03, 2014 6:43 am

"So, imagine that you find you're within a world like an Escher painting.

Filled with the structures and rules that seemed so impossible when you viewed it as a lithograph, but perfectly logical, with its stairs that go both up and down, and streams that forever flow to become their own perpetual sources.

Through windows of skewed inter angularity upon skies below reaching up to fields merging around, intertwined in a world without horizons.

All these thing seem to be, not commonplace, but perfectly and amazingly constructed, and there is no perception of paradox at all when viewed from within."
"Never fuck with The Culture"
Sublime In Peace Iain M. Banks.

I like this a lot. The reality we experience seems normal to us. We accept it without question (most of the time).
