Tourmaline and Sapphire's Quiet Desperation

Post by unseentangerine » Mon Jan 05, 2015 7:15 am

“I didn't know Dr. Scholl's made tv dinners.”
“Don't be such a snob; it's all we've got right now, ok?”
“I was just talking—”
It was getting hard for the both of them. Being poor isn't easy, but it was also new to them. And it was all so new. Tourmaline and Sapphire had had ups and downs like anybody, but her pastoral series paintings of fat dragons grazing just weren't selling, and his exterminating business had been, well, a little too successful.
“I'm sorry love,” he said without looking up. “Maybe we should try podcasting again?”

*forgot to indicate they were paintings
Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.
