Letting Go

Post by LajesticVantrashellofLob » Mon Aug 03, 2009 4:27 pm

My mother kneeled down beside me, crying. “Please, John. If you don’t bring him back…”

“No,” I stated firmly, “I already found him the last time he left us, and look where it got us!” I shouted, “He left again, just like he always does.”

“But… you’re the only one who can bring your father back to me!”

My mother continued to weep and I gave in. “When did you last see him?”

“He… he just stepped out to get groceries… and never came back!”

Sighing, I slowly began to chant the unholy magicks to resurrect my dead father.

Again.
Philosophy is a game with objectives and no rules. Mathematics is a game with rules and no objectives.

You're always the hero in your own story - life is about not being the villain in anyone else's.
