Winged Justice

Post by wanderingmarmot » Fri Jun 12, 2015 8:02 pm

“Guilty of two counts of bird on bird evil” proclaimed the owl.

“It’s not evil; it’s just my nature!” screamed the brown-headed cowbird.

As she continued to protest, the hummingbird deftly slipped the noose over the cowbird’s head. “No! You can’t do this to me! Please! It’s just my nature! Please!” bellowed the cowbird as she thrashed around trying to free herself from the noose.

The raven standing beside the owl leapt from the branch, wrapped her toes around the cowbird’s legs, and dropped. The snap was quick and resounding.

The robin couple smiled; justice for their eggs at last.

Yeah... Never cross a robin. My parents have one in their back yard that brawls with cats.

AND WINS!
The truth may be out there, but lies are inside your head.
