My Mind is Free

Post by dbennett » Wed Aug 26, 2015 8:52 pm

My mind has broken free, crossed the Stygian river of no return, and communed with hitherto unimagined beings and learned of incomprehensible powers. I have linked with Changelings, learned how to thwart a Vogon with a towel, and how to completely avoid the multiverse wherein the Groaci exist. I have roomed with Robert Louis Stevenson, explored the Raj with Rudyard Kipling, and spent eons traveling on the Charles Dexter Ward. This newfound escape has allowed me to roam free, experiencing all things I've ever longed for. Meanwhile, my unconscious body is still shackled to a bed at the nursing home.

How do you know they'll have audiobooks on the other side?

These are all "adventures" limited to experiences before "crossing over". Sort of an idea of what dementia may be like: lost irretrievably in one's past.
