The Edge

Post by RustyTomatoes » Fri Aug 17, 2018 4:10 am

Today we got closer to the edge than ever before.

It started as a dare: a fun game. Every day someone gets a little closer.

Approaching that nothingness is intense, though. The longer you look into the negative space, the harder it is to comprehend. As long as you are facing that void, it encompasses your world. It makes it hard to think of anything else. The sidewalk, the sky, the ground, maybe even time, space and reality; it all ends there.

I broke the record today: 50 feet from the end. I’m not going to play this game anymore.

This is my first time writing a Drabble. I've written twabbles before and even had one read on the podcast (one of the last pre-hiatus episodes), so I thought I would give it a try. I hope you all like it!
