The Spy Who Came in from the Kitchen

Post by Algernon Sydney is Dead » Wed Nov 11, 2009 8:14 am

The information was accurate; the items were right were they were supposed to be. That's when the operation SNAFU'd, however, as the lights clicked on and the guard shouted, "Halt!"

Sergei did NOT halt; he swept the guard's leg and snapped her neck before she could get back up. He then waited behind the door for the reinforcements. There was only one -- a paunchy man who had clearly been napping. Sergei slit his throat and then escaped with his prize.

"Did you get the milk and cookies?" asked his sister.

"Yes, but I've got bad news about Mom and Dad."

Tweedy, I am concerned. By calling ASID a sick man, you have acknowledged that you are unable to distinguish him from an AI, (unlike Revsleestaxx, who's still a bit more obvious). Now don't you feel at all responsible for what's about to happen at NORAD? And if sock puppets aren't allowed, shouldn't DC also have a rule about computer-generated twits and drabbles? This decision may come back to byte you.:o

I am able to distinguish, it's just that I'm not a wet supremacist. Our silicon brothers are just as worthy being called "man" as meat-based entities.

The person-hood of silicon sisters is, however, still up for debate.

Um...You're suggesting that DC sistahs have to be certified silicone-free? I wonder if Norma saw that one coming. I know a certain hamster who may be a useful informant.

Woo hoo, I've coined a new term into the DC-lexicon.

Have to agree. This was the product of a seriously deranged mind, (silicon based or othwerwise...)

(ASID, please accept that observation as the highest praise I can come up with.)

Great stuff.. If DC runs a full length spy-themed pot-boiler story, this drabble would be a natural opener for it.

Apparently, some people do not get the homages and references (Damn kids).

Here's one, still worth a read or a watch, IMO: The Spy Who Came in from the Cold
