Initial outside reaction to the YouTube solicited from a non-DC friend: it is too long to sustain interest with the single graphic.

I see his point, since we're changing from Podcast (portable) to YouTube (stuck at a desktop).
What my friend envisions is something like a comic book. I point out that that is way beyond our projected scope. If Bo did a panel a week, and the format called for a panel every 20 seconds, the project would be the equivalent of *calculating* two years' work.

What we need is an NEA grant.

Working in our favor, the material is vaguely blasphemous and insulting to Christianity.
Working against us, the project is too small to qualify as pork, so would probably need to be bundled to warrant that much campaign kick-back overhead.
Ideas, people?

Yes, we just need to make 100 StalinSays clones and chain them to desks in the basement. That, or try and sell the idea to Dark Horse Comics.

Truthfully? Audio is the format for it. Just watch the pretty pictures in our own head.
Or- it could be a video of Moonowl knitting her latest masterpiece. Right before being Velasquez breaks down the door and shoots up the place.

I kinda like the Connor Choadsworth "In Search of the Oompa Loompa" idea. He could be a kind of Mulder character. Numbarin could be his Scully.

No, you're insufferably prolix and effusive.

Ouch!
But now I'm having Kung Fu Theater fantasies about jumping behind my sofa and throwing knitting needles like daggers. Oddly enough, I've had this fantasy before...

Yeah, I'm up for seconds. Plumbing the depths for the giant octopus, displeased every time the tentacles add up to ten, knowing it's just another colossal squid, charging through the jungle with a butterfly after a mammoth sloth, rolling down the highway on crank, head of a biker gang on a hunt for a child snatching chupa'caber - there is a near inifinite amount of places for Connor to go.

Hee hee.. I can totally see that. Tossing a sweater over Velasquez like a net, then sending in the Death Worm to finish him off.

Yes, that would be FTW.

Could bring back the theme to Sea-Hunt. Maybe the EVP gear could actually turn out bo be useful to establish contact with the ghost of Lloyd Bridges.

Yes, he should be there too. Plus, we know from one of Norm's EP hostings that he's a fan of Msr. Cousteau.
