After she lost interest in the green eggs—yes, green chicken eggs (taste the same, look dyed, so what’s the point?)—my neighbor Johanna started raising black chickens. Yes, black ones. They’re popular in China for reasons ranging from nutrition to superstition, and she’d gotten three hens and a rooster from a guy in Chinatown—in exchange for the last two green-egg chickens she had.

I'd call this a "meat and potatoes" type story. I'm glad I listened, and it wasn't bad, but it ultimately didn't move me. (Then again, I'm a cynical old cuss and my standards seem tougher than most.)
I did get a few chuckles at some of the cultural jabs (and who doesn't like riffs about long poles

), and the idea about non-traditional (perhaps incompetent?) invaders was interesting.

Apart from the long pole stuff and the casual drug references, this would be a good bedtime story for the children, so that you could ask them at breakfast to tell you their dreams.
Unless you didn't want your children to turn out like Norm.
Good production and characterization, (including Mignon). Well told tour de farce. An aural amuse bouche.
Three ears up.
Never judge anyone until you have biopsied their brain.

Hot damn, I loved this one! The B-Sides has the potential of overtaking the A-Sides in awesomeness. Cluck!
You're my quasi-ichthian angel, you're my half-amphibian queen...
The Dribblecast, we don't care if you sound like an idiot.
