Jeez Louise
by Robert Scotellaro
"Jeez Louise," Frank says to Delores, as he glances from his window at the long line of onlookers—Father Gomez among them. "They're still out there."
Across the room their six-year old Chihuahua , Shorty, lounges atop a penthouse of cushions. "I fixed Shorty something," Delores says. "Should get him going again..."

The way I see it, Norm, you got two choices:
1) Repent
2) Get fitted for asbestos underwear.
Perhaps Kevin would be AMENable to adding a listener poll?
Good music and art. Guess they'll be going down with you. I alone, having washed my ears with holy water, am survived to come and tell you this tale.

flippin Sweet a nice small chunk of blasphemy to start the day of right. Excellent Job Robert Scotellero
Unnamable Cthuloid horrors, crumble rock, rusts scissors and inscribes paper with blasphemous secrets that cause your eyeballs to explode while your tongue catches fire from the unholy hymns your crazed mind forces you to scream out.

Okay.
What I want to say is that what you people are doing to those of us who listen to these things while out in public spaces is just wrong.
I mean, I'm in the freaking library man! And I think my facial expression (restrained constipated-esque frozen smile with head turned right and about 75 degrees upward) looks weird and creepy at best.....at BEST! and it's not going away!

Hm.
Combine that with this
and you've pretty much got the picture.
I'm tired of walking around looking like this.

Nice one, blasphemy is good but scatology is better. Drabblecast is going back to its roots?

They transplated the roots into the b-side planter.

I LOLed.
I thought it was a perfect satire of people's tendency to seek deep significance in stupid things. People crowding around in breathless anticipation, waiting for a dog to crap on the lawn. Ain't it the truth? Girls queueing up for hours for the chance to glimpse the star of "Twilight." People swamping the phone system to cast their American Idol votes. The general delirium that will erupt next year when the new Hollywood starlet is revealed (whoever she happens to be). Ain't it the truth?
People think things are important because someone told them it was important, not because it actually changes their lives in any way.

I'll second that, I was listening to it on my iPod at work while surrounded by Catholic/Hispanics, but I managed to not laugh out loud.

The victims of my weirdness are used to it already. I think you should listen to more Drabblecasts and possibly do zany things like wear a pink argyle sock on one foot and pixel skull sock on the other foot and help acclimate them.

A story built around the phrase "Holy Sh*t".
Pretty funny!

In listening to this, I think I said "What the crap?" multiple times before realizing how fitting it really was. And then I kept saying it because...well...do I need to explain?

It's kind of like a car fire with toasted passengers inside. Totally disgusting, but somehow a it compels you to listen.

You frequently listen to car fires with toasted passengers?
Is this available on ITunes, or do I need to track down a torrent?

Hilarious! Loved it loved it. I will think of this the next time someone declares that waterstains under an overpass look like the Virgin Mary.

Welcome aboard, Jack9091!
I find it interesting that 9091 is a port of interest to some hackers.
Even more fascinating is that 9091 is the largest prime number, less than 9092!!!
