Clowns & Bunnies: Updates and Soforth.

Post by ROU Killing Time » Mon Jan 18, 2010 6:12 am

Ok, I'm finally getting off my tookus and working to get some voices for my microcast of my drabbles and short stories. Already have Abigail Hilton, Phenopath, and hmmm, some other guy... Oh ya, Norm Sherman offering to speak for a minute or so blabbering my words into a mic.

So, if you feel like you have a voice that may be heard by 10's maybe 100's of people, send me a PM that you'd like to voice a drabble for me.

You can even pick out the one you'd like to do at http://www.sdlidster.wordpress.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (if it hasn't been taken already...)

If you are a podcaster or a blogger, of course you'll be free to pimp your own work out as part of the deal. :-)

Now THAT is what I call a tempting offer.

How do you feel about amateurs? That was me being a (fool) bashful camel intestine in the last MBDM call in section.

I do have sound gear that should be OK.

It's Ok to say no with all the pros you have who want to do it.

This is just a labor of love for me, moonowl, coupled with the fact that I have a real nasal voice. Norm, and Abby might giggle a bit at the "pro" designation though I certainly wouldn't argue your point there. As far as I know, Phenopath isn't a professional voice actor. Having people willing to do it from here in the drabblecast forum family makes me very happy. The fact that established podcasters like Norm and Abby are offering to help jump-start me is of course a great thrill, but these are busy folks, and I'd love to take anyone that feels like they would enjoy contributing a go.

Munsi and Dreamrock have joined the list of victims... I mean volunteers, and I'm glad to have you in that list too. As mentioned, go by and pick one out you'd like to read and let me know.

consider yourself part of Team-ROU.

(see, I've completely put all the unpleasantness from this years MBDM, behind me... bygones, and all that...)

lol Aw, ROU. Norm is a professional performer (and teacher of future performers and current snotty nosed brats). I am not. But thanks for being a sweety.

For voice work - email me directly. I could have missed this. Don't PM me, either; email.

Will do Abby. I'm just putting it all here to get my thoughts all sorted out. :-)

(And yes, if Norm isn't a "pro" yet, he certainly is the best in the pod-casting field. My money is that comedy central will eventually notice him, and he'll be a field reporter on The Daily Show...... If they have any brains at all...)

I'm about 877 miles away from my recording equipment. I'll get on my recordings probably Saturday. For those who are claiming stuff beyond what ROU already listed, dibb 'em here. :P
