You're british, aren't you? It's hard to sound like a dork to us americans in a british accent.

Yes folks, leave your self-conciousness at the door. You _always_ sound awful to yourself, but the rest of us want to hear it anyway. Remember, this is fun and nobody will laugh at you. (unless the story is funny.)

I got the twabble recorded last night to try the recording. I'm now contemplating of whether to use accents in "rabbit season". :-)

Hmm, perhaps I don't sound like a dork, rather a pompous arse. :)

All the audio I've received so far has exceeded my hopes and expectations.

Thank you all so very much, I'm getting very excited about this project.

This is gonna be fun.

Still dreading the inevitable intro's and outro's I'll be forced to do, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Hah! I made my husband flee the room too!

I blame that on ROU's story, though.

I'm sure you all sound great. This will be fun to hear!!

Someone remind me to make a blooper reel for my audio. This was really addictive. If I hadn't run out of time, I probably would have recorded some other random stuff while I was at it.

Well, I've discovered you have some cool voices out there in fanville, Norm.
I've got my email box stuffed full of audio that I now have to bury myself in parsing and producing, (although Pheno even added a Foley at the end of his...)

Then, of course, I have to dig into to figuring out all of the podpress side of it, though I know there's a wealth of information out on the web on how to do that which I now need to dig into.

The project has given me a whole new level of insight and respect on what you accomplish on a weekly basis.

It's a microcast, but I don't want it to be too micro, so each episode is gonna have 3 pieces in it.

I have to work on witty intro's and outro's now. Hopefully I won't be at a loss for words.

Thanks again for being the inspiration for it all.

And thanks to the cast of readers for their enthusiasm in taking part. :)

Finished reviewing all of the audio that has been sent thus far. Great job everyone. Not a single voice where I went "egad, what were they thinking..."

 and :thanks:

Isn't it nice when your standards are still low? Norm's now held to the point that he's taking heat for an effect being 12% too loud.

Well, he did ask for it, quite literally. And he has become a pro in every sense of the word after all this time, (except for the part about being underwritten by a patron with deep pockets who wants to give him a huge production budget,) but eventually one such person will discover what we all treasure on a weekly basis...

As for standards being low, I was delighted to find, that among the forumites, low-standards were well above the water-mark set by many podcasts out there on the inter-web. We've all gone hunting for more content and had that "blech" experience followed by a scramble to find the unsubscribe button.

Hopefully CB&OST will avoid that fate.

Ah, great minds think alike. Apparently so do yours and mine. ;-)

I'm thinking I might be able to wheedle a shout-out or two.

Once I overcome my own mic-fright, parse them up, and get a few of these in the can,

I'll be doing just that. I want to avoid any vapor-pod dynamic though, so won't do that until I'm sure I've gotten close to release. :)

Well, a friend of mine from high school who works in post-production is gonna lay a crap load of SFX from the Warner Bros. library on my iPod, so that solves one problem I've been fretting over. It'll even be, like legal. I'll just have him list me as a client.

Who says that facebook (mafia wars not-withstanding) is a complete and utter waste of time.
