I can't take credit for this one. From #AncientHealines twitter meme... I did however add a few words and modify to fit twabble size...

"I don't know how it happened. Wax was sound when it left the factory". Wing-maker denies blame for Icarus Air disaster.

Liked it so much, I grabbed another one:

Icarus starts new budget airline "Waxyjet" many crashes and fatalities. Customers say they still prefer it to Ryanair

I don't know about TOW honors, but it did remind me of CLP's fun twabble, so it gets points for that.

All was too quiet.

The monkey’s grip tightened on the baseball bat. He’d be damned if that weasel popped out at him again.

Do the editors choose submissions from this thread, or are Twabbles submitted via email as the longer fiction is to be?

Norm chooses from this thread, although I believe there was one exception recently from a ¿professional-ish? writer.

Anyway, post an interesting and/or good twabble here and it will get a reaction (usually).

"Fiat Lux," He said, hand outstretched. Then he looked to see if it was good. It was not. "No," He said. "I meant Bud Lite!"

The crowd stared, impatient. Probing his hat, the magician found naught but a note written in a crude hand: NOT TONIGHT.

"Life sucks, men stink, and nothing to wear," said a cavewoman, poking at a deerskin pensively. "On second thought..."

I never said doomed, I said we've been domed. Although I suppose, since the dome is airtight, you've made a good point...

Set me free from the stone that imprisons me. Chisel it, chip it all away! Wait! I'm not a naked man. No! Michelangelo! No!
