Also, new here: hello everyone! Y'all're amazingly hilarious, weird, and awesome. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.
Not bad. At least it wasn't a sniper-scope!

I first thought that the quotes were part of the story and was about to get all up in your grill for busting the 100-char limit. :P Probably best not to wrap a twabble in quotes unless they're part of the story.

Welcome aboard!

Aye, I realized after posting that perhaps bolding or colouring might've been a better choice, all things considered. Live and learn, eh?

And, while I suppose pun-isment may not be a primary focus for some people, I'm sure a lot of us like rougher contact sports. >_-

Kathy locked the door. Starting the coffee shop was worth it. At last, an audience for her “Pact with the Devil” stories.

You've locked me in a room
Telling me stories of doom
You have a book and you tell me to sign
The signature takes away my mind
Oh goddess, there's a little yellow man following me everywhere I go!

The five-headed Vegans always come to us for their spacesuit helmets. Best craftsmanship, see? "It fits like a glove!"

The constraints of writing these reminds me of being a teenager and being fascinated by Haiku as an art form. The limitations force such interesting compromises. So, another Twabble based on a haiku:

You might hate them now
(the green and the orange,
crunchy, bitter)
but living in pudding-land
you'd want some veggies!

Just remove the second and third lines for the 5-7-5 version!

I got a couple...

My journey to the center of the earth was arduous, but it was worth it when I broke into the core and found caramel filling!

His tears fell just like the rain: from 6,000 feet as he pulled frantically at the cord of a parachute that wouldn't open.

Hallelujah!
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the lard.
I am cooking up some chicken on a grill in my backyard.

I dream of ways for you to die, including with the nail clipper and Pez dispenser. Screams of pleasure. And yet, you live.

Alien Vs. ?

Post by GreatNorthernTroll » Sun Jul 08, 2012 11:02 am

The alien's tentacle reached toward the sleeping baby. The baby's eyes popped open, fangs emerged... The baby burped.

He didn't mean teeth appeared from the eyes- his eyes opened, then fangs emerged from hs mouth, then he ate the alien. :D

I look forward to the day when, like "Big Blue vs Kasparov", a troll can pass for a DC forumite.

His eyes didn't just open, they "popped" (like zits).
Anywho, I'm sure the l'il rugrat wouldn't want to alien-ate his visitor.

You seem to be reading in an alternative interpretation simply on the basis that it makes more sense to you that way. But the implication is pretty clear that the fangs emerged from the baby's popping eyes. Which would also make more sense, since we all know babies are born without fangs (to the blessed relief of their nursing mothers}.

Not bad, but "ozzer" is mispellerized. Also, there is no more USSR. (I know, I know... Putin is working on it.)
