Sometimes when I lie on your warm chest
and I hear your happy sigh,
I gaze into your two kind eyes
and wonder, "Who is that?"

This was adapted from a poem in I Could Pee on This: And Other Poems by Cats, by Francesco Marciuliano.

Christopher Robin steeled himself in the wake of his choice. From this day forward he walked the path of the War-Eeyore!
"Overwhelmed as one would be placed in my position,
Such a heavy burden now to be the one,
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending,
To write it down for all the world to see.

But I forgot my pen..."

Boo! Hiss! :)

Alas canon-Eeyore is almost the opposite of a warrior and his defining trait is depression.

Maybe:
It was pooh & all such a bother. But this donkey wasn't going to take anymore! Now he had a hair Tigger. He was a War-Eeyore!

Don't be that way. That was the traditional response to good pun-ishment.

I Meta Twaddle

Post by lyda » Wed Apr 17, 2013 12:05 am

(to the tune of 100 bottles of beer on the wall)

Code: Select all

100 char tales make a twaddle, 100 char tales. Short some chars, long some chars, those are tales which are not a twaddle!
Obviously for this to be used on the podcast it has to be sung.

As an aside, I might not have gotten the meter correct. My apologies. In my defence I was raised in America where we did not use the metric system...

It's twabble, not twaddle (ideally, anyway).

Thought of this one whilst I was mowing the grass.

"Job worth doing is worth doing well," says he.
I stroke the whetstone with a dull blade. "Next time you be executioner."
“It’s what you do with it that counts.” But, one look at his twabble convinced her. A double entendre’s size does matter.

Les Miserables quotes "our little lives don't count at all." I call bullcrap on that. My lives count nine. Mee-ow, baby.

"My lives count nine and I vote!"

Welcome aboard, afgrappin!
I love how that moniker is suspiciously close to Ass grabbin'. :)

That awful jingle: "Light bite, making things with bites!" It's what the vampire, now his master, sang when she bit him.

I don't remember an awful lot of things, and one of them is if that ever meant anything to me.
So when you say kids are too young to remember, remember that they'll one day be too old to remember most everything too.
And thank God for that too, if you like.

I've got to say, that's a new one. I've had the "grabbin" mispronunciation of my surname before, but the first part... I don't know that I'd really call my ass that grabbable.

Interesting how you interpreted that. :)
That phrase more likely would describe your proclivities versus your, um, ass-ets. :)

Anyway, touché with the guilt-parry about that being your real name versus a, um, handle.

Je m'excuse.

I realize I am obligated to do what he wants, but keeps asking for more than 3. I can't help it, he just rubs me the wrong way.
