Write 3 a day. Then 4-5 hours later, go back and edit them. 2 hours after that, post the best one (per day).

Total time: 20-40 minutes, spread into 3 small sessions.

Remember:
Brevity is the soul of wit.
Sloppy concept? Got no space for it.
Our phrases are ALL tight knit.
I think, therefore I Twit.

No! That's sexist! :x
If anything, it would be "Welcome, Ma Damn."
(After all, we've no idea if the skirt is a true "broad". )

I think I would prefer to keep my gender annon.... oh, wait. I put it on my profile... Darn you M/F question! You always trip me up! To save you the trouble of going to my profile, I'm male.

Did you really want to be flirted with by a bunch of drabbleguys?

Well, I decided to adopt the write 3, revise later, and pick the best amendment to my challenge, although unfortunately I've already broken the 10 minutes only rule, so I'm just abandoning that one...

So here's what I felt was my best today:

It was my turn to host the Cult of Dagon's convocation this month. Turns out sashimi is not a suitable mid-meeting snack.

A bird lands near me
Looks like nature is starting to recover here
So, I snare it with a tentacle
Can't have that happening

Picasso. Michelangelo. DaVinci. Steven had finally caught up with them: he now weighed as much as all of them combined.

What a spendered thing is the craft. Useful for so many things. Love? Money? Happiness? Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Grrr. What's with all the misspellerizations?
Travelin Corpse Feet wrote:Picasso. Michalangelo. ...
It's Michelangelo.

"Spendered" ain't in my OED. Perhaps "splendored" was meant? But, I'm holding out for "spindried". :P

Edited. Though I'm curious as to why my spellchecker didn't catch that the first time through.

"I'm agnostic, and as such i worship Agnos, the ancient Greek God of uncertainty"
"Oh, is he helpful?"
"I don't know..."

Good, but has couple grammar errors.

Possible edit:
"I'm agnostic, and I worship Agnos, the ancient Greek Goddess of uncertainty."
"Oh, is she helpful?"
"I. don't. KNOW!"

Bonus palindrome:   Em, Agnos... I is on game.

Anywho, best to worship Angus. The burnt offerings are better. :)

When she said, "Careful of the ankle biters," he'd assumed she'd meant toddlers.
So she had, but they were also zombies.

"I swear my first born to thee." The goblin trades me the glowing key. I then go to my second errand of the day: a vasectomy.

HR worked a compromise. The Wicked Things agreed to respect my personal bubble, and I agreed to stop pricking my thumbs.

Well, here's my favourite for today, in the nick of time. 2 days down, 5 to go. On the plus side, I composed inside my 10 minute limit this time, and found it easier to pull ideas from just what was in my room.

"Behold, my anti-matter grenade!"

Jenkins cleared his throat, "Ah, Sir? I, ah, believe that is in fact your egg timer."

"Bah! After this timer goes off, it won't matter."

Congrats for sticking with such a noble goal. :P

Whelp, here's today's effort:

I lay on the bed, wondering. Perhaps she hadn't meant me to take it so literally when she said "over my dead body". Ah well.

Not sure if it was better than one of yesterday's back-ups, but I felt if I started cheating I might lose the motivation to compose decent ones instead of just using spares.
