Thanks! Too bad about that Nobel (you know I used to think that prize meant something, once upon a time). But, feel free to send lots of cash, without the fancy necklace. :)

"1000 bucks to hunt zombies in your park? Where'd you get them?"

"We started with 22. The rest were like you. Customers."

My bloody stumps drag over the pentangle, in-out, in-out, ETERNAL shaking.

"THIS is what it's all about!", He cackles.

"I killed a lot of those zombies with my rifle today. Put a bullet in each one!" Headline: 65 Dead After Alzheimer’s Rant.

I'll cut off an ear and mail it to my sweetheart. Oh, I hope she comes to appreciate me as an artist before this corpse rots.

I coaxed a classmate up to the tree house. "Some kids play doctor, but I want to play Medical Examiner. Hold still for me."

Jeff sat at the computer, arranging body parts. Wow, this was a challenge! Perfect score! Mama Dahmer would be so proud!

Clever. I really like this one!

As the zombies ate, Joe Biden snuck away. "Why'd you let him go?" one growled. The other answered, "It was a no-brainer".

"Why'd you decide to let it go?" growled the zombie, as Joe Biden slipped away.
The other spat out, "It was a no-brainer."

You really think that was a Biden gaffe? (and not a planned "go and do what you do best, Joe" order from campaign HQ?)

What Joe does best is make Dan Quayle look like a genius.

Liked the second version better. Found this version skulking about in the wrong topic.

This is clearly derivative of the twabble I posted on Nov 08, 2009:
The zombies were fast, unstoppable, and ravenous for brains. So, in a cruel twist, they bypassed Congress completely.

So you owe me 86% of all royalties you collect on this work. 8)

Also note that Joe "Bite me" is a former congress-critter.

While the gist is similar, the key to this oevre is the phrase "no-brainer", which is original to my piece. However the possibility remains that I was inspired by your original observation of the stupidity of congress. In which case the rest of the population also may owe you royalties.

I think we all agree that Zombies/Brains(or lack thereof)/Politicians is a fairly well mined trope. (I still don't believe for a second that either of you are gullible enough to believe that the "gaffe" was actually a gaffe, and not a planned event designed to leverage Biden's reputation for unparallelled gaffery, thus setting the stage for Obama to come out and say "Yes, I'm for gay marriage and I guess I kinda have to come out of the closet now that Joe over there went and pushed the issue...")

And Joe Bite-me is kind of weak, ASID. Not enough of a phonetic link to be effective.

Gotta be a better play on the name than that, is all I'm saying there...

Huh? "No brainer" is hardly original. Nor is it even originally tied to Joe -- I've heard radio mouthpieces apply the phrase to his actions. Also brainlessness is the key to your piece, not some hackneyed phrase.
