Years after Dante's death, scholars realized that he omitted a ring of hell reserved for teenagers. They named it prom.

I speak for us all, I know, when I invite you to go to the prom with us. We can dance.

Are you nuts?! She's been foreshadowing all over the place -- including literally promising Hell!

I believe her yearbook entry will probably soon have: "Most likely to instigate a live 'reenactment' of Carrie ." :( :o 8)

The Parthenogenesons were cruel. Rick had feared they would eliminate males. Instead, he was pregnant with triplets.

That was my inspiration. Imagine the DC community in Carrie. ASID, you could be Carrie's mom.

Actually, what I've been unable to get out of my mind is Norm writing a musical comedy adaptation of In Search of the MDW: Little Shop of Horrors crossed with The Producers

How's that for vision?

Bah, there's scant in common. Although, if Mrs. White really was a cranky, misanthrope victim of m-preg; that would explain some things.

Great. Now you've got me trying to fit "I am your Deathworm" into Steve Martin's excellent rendition.

The other red meat

Post by Algernon Sydney is Dead » Sun Jan 31, 2010 7:43 am

This is not mine, it's condensed from a tweet by someone called "tweetthemeat". He/she/it has a series of thoroughly gruesome twats.

You never hear about the 4th little pig; Big Bad never bothered her.
He'd heard that she built her house out of wolf bones.

Mm, tweetthemeat needs to be encouraged to join the forums.

EDIT: I tracked down the name of the original author of that twabble. [BIO] William Wood can be found in an old farmhouse in the Blue Ridge Mtns with his wife & kids. He occasionally sleeps instead of writing. His tweetthemeat profile is slightly longer and includes his e-mail address. Can't find any obvious proof he has a website, but I did find a few other things he wrote.

Frank noticed that the Google ads at seeyourfuture.com always promoted DIY will kits and Final Exit by Derek Humphrey.

At the side of the chair she noticed a small green suitcase. “Damn it” she said as the suitcase let out a huge belch of fire.

Welcome aboard!

I don't quite get this though. Is it a dragon-hide suitcase? A reference to something (TV, book, movie)?

It's frustrating to lose a glove.
But it's maddening to lose one, throw away the other, and then find the first one again.

Or maybe when she says damn it, it is damned.

Not a bad story concept, that: You just thought it was a casual expression. But Mt 16:19 says " I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Bottom line: whenever you said damn it, it got sent to eternal hell.

I WANT A DO-OVER! (indeed)

What if one person binds something (oh let's use Hellcast as a good example) and another looses it? Do the two of them go hand over hand til they reach the end of the cosmic baseball bat?

Theological questions of this nature tend to occur to me.

Such questions are fair game, but the drabble format usually leaves resolution of them to the Douche Baggah. The fact that He screwed up on the Hellcat question is the reason I am a Douche Baggah agnostic today.

I wish I could paint, take pictures like a pro or draw something more than a stick figure. I'd draw my love for you, Bagels.
