Last name of Doe?
You're my quasi-ichthian angel, you're my half-amphibian queen...

That's what the toe tag says, Detective Baker. Looks like he struck again.

She took off her clothes, but she wasn’t naked underneath. She wore no skin. Just a heart, pumping, pumping, pumping…

Nice one, Jeetkuneluke! It appears to be two characters short of the required 100 though - I highly recommend this tool maintained by our most esteemed ASiD to reach twabble nirvana.

Might I suggest "ripped" instead of "took" to get you those two extra characters?

Thanks Varda!

You're right, it is two characters short. It wasn't at first, but I tweaked something when posting (I don't remember what), and that killed it.

I like "ripped". Great suggestion!

That is the most touching twabble I have seen in a while. Nicely done!

Thanks tbaker2500! It seemed appropriate for V-Day month. :-)

Using Varda's suggestion to correct the character count, here's the revised version:

"She ripped off her clothes, but she wasn’t naked underneath. She wore no skin. Just a heart, pumping, pumping, pumping…"

As she unlocked the deadbolt and quickly turned the door knob, Jane said "Don't worry. It's probably just the mailman."

The scream faded into the thickening fog leaving Betty alone to wonder if it was the last sound humanity would ever hear.

I dig that! So many stories and worlds could be built around this one sentence.

“I love you,” he said, as he drew the knife. She didn’t quake as he ran the blade across her throat. A perfect wedding gift.

"Whoops." said Tesla after realizing the red wire was touching the negative terminal. Tunguska was going to be pissed.

The Universal Postal Union's leaders were quite surprised when checks for dues started coming in from the Crab Nebula.

The ash continued to rise, blocking out the sun. The cold that followed would chill bones. The cold would kill the world.

Sounds like the beginning of a Douglas Adams tale. Love it.

Tick.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
The thing in the clock waited.
Waited for midnight.
For the darkness.
To come out and play.
Tick.

The sun faded to just another speck of light and for the first time, I truly believed that I would never return home again.
