It's a Texas Thang

Not sure what forum this fits in but I think it qualifies as weird enough to make mention of on the DC forums.

Now why would anyone think this was weird? Is it that you've got a food market collocated with a bank? I'm reminded of the headlines when someone brought a firearm to a tea party and it made national headlines. What the matter? You planning on doing something that warrants getting shot?

Well, ya know, I've always had the sense that guns and booze just aren't a great mix. I guess the State of Texas feels the same way because we can't carry concealed weapons into any establishment that makes more than 50% of their income from serving alcohol.

But hey, what do I know.

How are drunks supposed to defend themselves?

According to the line at the bottom of the forum page, Happy birthday Eric!

Happy birthday, Eric!
Hartelijk gefeliciteerd!

I'm still searching for the line at the bottom of the forum page telling me it's your birthday, but I believe Tom when he says it's your birthday. Tom _knows_ things, man.
I'll be there in 5 minutes. If not, read this again.

Thanks, but my b-day came and went yesterday - that's why it's no longer on the bottom of the forum page.

In another 999999944 years I'll be able to make a pretty solid assumption that infinite parallel universes do exist.

As for the whole gun thing, after a while guns get boring. How about deer hunting with c4? Wouldn't it be a cool YouTube video to put a couple pounds of c4 under the deer feeder and light it off when Bambi stops to eat?

Damn - looks like somebody beat me to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UOh3WWcxIY" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false (Animal lovers may not want to view the linked movie. For that matter, nobody but a sicko should view it.)

The only way that could get better is if they only used endangered animals...

No, really I don't know if I have the words to express my true feelings about this vid, without sounding like some stereotypical bleeding heart peta person.

But props for the post eric.

I'm not looking!

However, here is more humane thing to do when guns get boring.

The targeted ads in these forums make me laugh. This thread generated a new one on me...

Now that's cool - might even be better than hunting with c4
