6 people died from these suckers this year. ... 5cd41e4774

But the best part is, this site has a Predator of the Week.
You might call this a Drabble-rich environment.

I lived in New Zealand when I was a kid, and we had a few hot (at least, pleasantly warm) pools around where I lived. I went swimming in them on occasion, and my mum always warned me not to put my head under water because I might get amoebic meningitis.

Of course, when you're thirteen you know better than mum. Now that I see that story, I wonder how lucky I really am. Very lucky I suppose --- one, to have a mum who cares enough to tell me when I'm doing something stupid, and two, lucky not to have my brain eaten by these things.

I wonder if they'd have the same effect as zombies?

Animals that want to live in my brain suck. I hate them.

animals that want to live in my brain will find themselves considerably disappointed in their choice of realestate. i won't survive long, but at least i'll know their malnourished kids won't either.
