(does that even count as drabblenews? )

Emails from the raptured?

That's right, if your absolute certainty of your own righteousness is too much to to express on a bumper sticker, you can send "told-you-so" messages to all of your unsaved friends and relatives!

These people have access to nuclear weapons.

Well, no. That's commonly known and understood. It certainly doesn't count as 'strange'.

Looking at the site, wow. So many angry people in the comments. My main question is, what happens to people who sign up but don't get whisked away? Do they just have to suck it up and smile when any of their 62 favourite heathens come walking past?

I'm so glad my eschatology is correct.

It is a common mistake. They're eschatology; we are scatology. Down the hall to the right.

Well, I suppose if their eschatology is correct many of us are in the you-know-what.

If so, we will use our Infinite Improbability Drive to RECTify the situation.

Hilarious. It reminds me of the messages spewed by crackpot evangelicals I see on the 10 or so religion channels I have on my crap cable TV system.

I thought the date of the rapture was changed to 2012, the year the Mayan calender ends.

Nah, the rapture was actually on October 28, 1992. These guys are just in denial.

Some characters and settings are just itching to be made into a DC story, and none more so than fundamentalist evangelicals (of any/all religions). I might have to work on that one myself.

Wow. Even as an evangelical, I find that a bit much.

$5 per year should would be much more reasonable....
