BSG Predictions and TV show love
I'm sure we have many BSG fans on the DC forums, and with season 4 half-way over, I feel it's time to throw out some predictions.
So, I predict...
Humans and Cylons find Earth at the same time. It is a modern time (though not our current time) on Earth, and a Nuclear holocaust ensues. A small mix of BSGers, cylons, and "earthlings" remain, though without any technology, and only minimal resources. Hera and Nicky are the only remaining children, and thus become a new Adam and Eve, the parents of our current humanity. The prophecy holds true that "things happen again and again..." Meaning that, we are all hybrids!
I really don't care how it ends, as long as it is good. I kind of feel like they're painting themselves into a corner now, though.
While we're here, what other shows are hot within the DC community? LOST is my number one show, by a few thousand light years.

One day he will look into what a ‘stigmata’ really is; for now, it is his trump card for getting out of work. He simply says ‘stigmata’ and they say ‘shit, hope you feel better soon.’ End of story.

Dr. Who was on the list along with "Other", but I guess there is a limit to the amount of options.
Dr. Who is getting a lot of love these days from the internet community, not a huge fan personally.

Making polls is finicky. You've got to enter your option, then push "add option," otherwise it won't register. Doing this makes an empty box so it looks like you're going to have more options than you want. If it looks right, it's wrong. If it looks like you've got an extra blank spot on the bottom, then you did it right.
I don't actually watch TV at all because 1.) 96% of TV is utter crap 2.) anything I really want I can see on DVD, sans commercials 3.) cable is expensive and 4.) between movies, books, podcasts, internet and the Wii, TV can't really compete for entertainment time.
I say that only so the next comment will make sense: "Dr. Who" is only current TV show that I really watch (on DVD, a season behind). Perhaps this thread will give me some others to check out.

No Torchwood
Since I'm a "Lost" geek, I'll have to vote Abrams all the way.
Dexter?

Yes, sorry, I know. Many shows were left off the list. I should have known better than to leave Dexter off the poll, esp. in a sci-fi fan forum.
BSG can be high comedy on most eps. The redeeming thing is I like to believe the directors/writers/producers create those moments intentionally. Take Roslin's dialogue with Deanna this last episode. That music in that one pivotal moment is hilarious. That couldn't have been meant to be taken seriously.

I wonder when "It's all crap" is going to air in Holland, I've never seen that one... Sounds promising though!
Of the shows that do exist in my universe, I love Heroes!
I think I would have liked LOST too, but I completely missed the first season because in the beginning, it didn't appeal to me. The story sounded so boring. And then strange things started to happen at that island but the it was too late for me to get into the story. So, no LOST in my universe. I only let Heroes (and House!!!! Yeah! ) into mine.

I'll be there in 5 minutes. If not, read this again.
