Mr. Tweedy's baby

Post by Mr. Tweedy » Tue Dec 04, 2007 7:21 am

Not exactly Drabble-ish news, but:

My daughter Clara Violet Hugo was born tonight at 11:15. She weighs 6 and a half pounds and stands 21 inches tall. (Well, she would if she could stand.) She joins Norah Iris to make two little Hugo girls.

I guess birth itself is pretty weird. This whole biology thing is pretty weird. It's good, though. Really good.

Congrats! Very pretty names!

What a great coincidence with this week's story.

Hey, I just read the stories. :-)

Any cute pics of Clara that we could melt over yet? Feel free to share (unless you'd rather not have them one click away from pics of the Octo-child or Tree-man, which is understandable)

The octo-child and the tree man are fine people. No shame in being a click away from them!

A beautiful child, Mr. Tweety. Congratulations!

Two girls, huh. I hope you like pink.

I like to see little girls wearing pink. For myself, not so much.

yeah i really like the first one too. it's a cynical expression you'd never expect a baby to make. its like she was born all crusty and immediately in disbelief at how ridiculous the world is.

I'd suggest a caption contest for that first picture if we could keep it baby-friendly...because I'd love to imagine captions for that photo.

i thought "click here to see full size image" was a pretty solid caption.

Hmmm, ask Norm - I believe he is the expert on giant man-eating cephalopods. In that third pic your Clara bears an uncanny resemblance to Her Majesty the Queen (but less wrinkly).
