Physicists to test if universe is a computer simulation

Post by Mikes » Thu Apr 18, 2013 1:15 am

Physicists will test if the universe is a computer simulation.

Question: what happens if the tests come back positive?

This is what happens when you let physicists do drugs. :)

Anywho, it wouldn't be a problem except that our simulation uses deprecated features that are removed from upcoming releases of #&$*@! Chrome and Firefox. :x
(IE still supports similar features but with completely different syntax.)

PS: The "Brain in a bottle" conjecture has been shown to be false by leading cognitive scientists (who are no-doubt in on it). And, it would take at least two whole complete universes to simulate our universe -- rather inefficient of God, that would be.

Or they could just cache the bits of the universe we can't see. That's why voyager took so long to exit the solar system, it was stuck on the loading screen.
