Huh

'Bryozoa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryozoa)' was a suggestion from the youtube comments, it seems feasible. I was unaware anything remotely learned could ever be delivered in the form of a youtube comment.

Kinda looks like the sentient insides of a Taco Bell bean burrito to me. Maybe the term 'tortilla shell' is more literal than once assumed.

This is from Incredible Journey. You're in the sinuses.

Well, I've heard of things being in the belly, bowels and heart of the Earth. It's only logical that someone would eventually stumble onto the sinus.

Here is the point of origin for this story, as far as I've tracked it:
http://www.kdvr.com/kdvr-prehistoricsew ... 3974.story

Can't beat a headline like 'Prehistoric Sewer Monster Caught on Video'

Bryozoan, by this account. Dissenting opinions identify them as sea worm clusters. I don't pick sides. What is important to know - red necks have blown one up:

We all get moderated, sooner or later, fret not.
I enjoy the story commenter 'That's just Bernie Madoff's cold, black heart.'

"Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, said staff biologists have confirmed that the "creature" is actually a colony of tubifex worms. The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes.

"They seem to respond to the light from the camera," Buchan said. "That light is pretty hot.""

For real, I haven't dropped a ball this big since Luke's dad back in '82. ANd that was quite a ball.
I've been distracted in the netherworld, you clown larvae have been barely getting weekly episodes by the skin of your egg-teeth...
But yah, I don't think I've ever seen a more disturbing cryptozoological video than this. I don't even care if they "explain" this abomination as part of a socialized healthcare option, it will always be unspeakably hideous. Inspiration for the next Bbardle... (Lovecraft's Birthday!)
