Not at all funny but sounding more and more like a story I've heard a thousand times in apocalyptic fiction --

Yep, it's bad, but the "news" industry likes to drum up these super-disease scares every 6 to 20 months.

They've been doing it since, at least, the 1960's, like clockwork. Ebola even made the list several times since 1976. When the real pandemic comes along, most people won't believe it.

(Then again, this latest outbreak is 4 times worse than previous Ebola outbreaks. And, health requirements are now waived or ignored at our border. Maybe this really is the big one. :shock: )
