Mermaids may be Halaal

Post by groomporter » Sat Aug 01, 2009 5:27 pm

The Koran or some of its promoters discussed mermaids at some point, therefore they are/were presumed to exist. The question is if you haul in a mermaid along with a nice catch of ordinary fish, is she halaal (permissable to eat)? One source said "all the sea creatures which can only live in water are halaal," so it seems they may be OK to eat for Muslims

Finally a reason to convert!

Can't decide, what to use, what to use... tartar or barbecue?

Pshaw!

As a Christian, I can eat mermaids and pigs. Muhammad got nothin' on that action.

Yes, but are they Leviticlly clean meat? That is the question. Scales - check. Fins - check. OK, they're edible.
