I'm not going to be shy here...

Post by braver_ducky » Wed Jan 28, 2009 6:42 am

I'm not going to be shy here... but Norm, my dear, I want you to marry me. I love your stories.. your songs.. your voice!! I love you!
Since I'm almost sure my offer will not readily be accepted.. I do have one other way you can please me. ONE other thing you can do for me.. one other thing instead of becoming my betrothed..
Put out more episodes. That's right, I need you to put out for me Norm! I just can't bear to be.. without you and your voice. I need to hear more drabbles.. more news.. more music, sound effects, fiction!!!!
Of course my previous offer is still open... I want you in my ears..all night long.

Hmmm.... I don't know. I'm curious to see where this goes.

It certainly qualifies as strange, at least. Might move it over to Drabblenews: "Duck-troll hybrid creature pops The Question to the high priest of the Cult of the Cephalopod."

It's also possible that Indigo and Ducky are some sort of two-headed beast, which would handily explain their mutual interest in Norm, as well as their need for headphone splitters.

What people do in the privacy of their own headphones is between them, a cockroach, and or whatever parasitic ear mites they may host.

Haha sorry guys. I was kind of bored. And well I do enjoy the drabble cast. As for the roaches..that's nothing. I breed roaches to feed my pets and currently have about 600 of them scurrying around in rubbermaid bins. I think these ones would be a little bit too big to fit into any ear though, let alone a childs. Poor kid.. I can only imagine what it sounded like in there... scurrying against is ear drum. Yuck

Aw, bummer. Just a plain vanilla troll. And the idea of Norm being courted by a two-headed yeti babe was so interesting.

Welcome to the forums, Ducky! (Nice way to introduce yourself, by the way.)

We still don't know if it's a guy or a girl. I don't know that Norm cares, but it would be more entertaining for the rest of us.

Well, going with my two-head theory, it could easily be both.

So its body is at the very least a hermaphrodite, with a head for each sex. Toss a duck and a troll in the mix and things might get interesting.

For a really interesting look into duck reproduction, check out this article in Cosmos (my bible). http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/node/1277

HAHA nice article. Ok I'm not a 2 headed monster or a hermaphrodite. But thank you lol.

It's the mothership.
Observant observers will note that many DC regulars have been disappearing from our midst. Yes, some like Delfedd and bolddeceiver may have been mainly interested in Super Animal Death Match. But what about vburn, Philippa, and Ayn Savoy? And, most recently, zZzacha appears to have been snatched, funnybunny and all.
All aboard the Canadian mothership, condemned to harsh winter conditions in the nasty Canadian shaleoil mines.

We will not forget you, DC comrades. We light a candle in our window and await your safe return.

I think the only plausible solution is that braver_ducky has been eliminating the competition. More Norm for herself.

I am willing to share Norm under mp3 format.. and you may have your other comrades bunny-face and so and so for a ransome of more episodes. It has been decided.
On the other hand I have different fingers and I wish I had a mother ship! It would be sooo much warmer than my house - I'm sure of it. Maybe the heat from take off would also melt the snow in my driveway so I won't have to shovel it. Anyone have an extra ship I can borrow? Maybe with a few cool bumper stickers on it? I'm thinking "back off get your own saucer!" or "I made it to the moon and back and all I got was disapointement when I realized I forgot my space suit at home" Ah the possibilities..
