It works. I got down to "boring, generic Christian" in short order. (Muslims are jealous that we get to eat bacon.)

This is Drabblecast.
That chart needs to include Santería and LaVeyan Satanism.

Both of these are fine religions to be when opening the door to missionaries.

Wow. Spooky. Me too. It's like it knows everything about me.

And when I held it up to the light, it told me to go back to work on NaNoWriMo. Double spooky.

They say it's bacon, but if they say it's made out of turkey, I don't believe them. Same for veggie burgers, tofu burgers, diet soda, lite beer ...

There should be a "Poor and Insane" branch too, leading to "Congratulations, you are the second coming, tell all your friends..."

I don't even see a minor reference to the Cult of Cthulhu.

To properly represent the religious diversity in America, those charts needs a path designated for cannibalism, virgin sacrifice, and interspecies breeding.

Iä! Iä! Cthulhu ftaghn!
Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah-nagl ftaghn!

I knew some folk in the SF Bay Area who had Cthulhu in their pantheon of deities, along with Santerian Blue God and some others. Those were the good old days. Someday I'll have to tell about the joys of having the old gods invoked while dancing around a bonfire with a spear, wearing nothing but a skull mask and red paint.

Janet says that it's probably a good thing that she didn't know me then.

Weeell, if we're looking for a comprehensive test, they should include Discordianism, etc. :D

If any group of people is qualified to flesh this flow-chart out to perfection, it's the DC forumites.

Aw, jeez, man. We gotta get you some real food.

See, I'm not opposed to turkey. I'm not opposed to tofu, soy products, black beans, or any kind of mushrooms. I am opposed to trying to make food pretend to be other food. Fake food, pretend food, etc. is bad food. Your taste buds are hoping and expecting something else and the replacement always comes up short ... because it's not the real thing.

You can have a completely vegetarian diet while still having really awesome food and not resorting to pretend food. Vegetables taste awesome, and they should be appreciated in meals that complement their culinary strengths rather than trying to put them in place of meat. Tofu when it's treated right is absolutely awesome. Even soy beans taste pretty decent when they're not pinch-hitting for animal products.

Same thing for turkey. Well-prepared turkey in a turkey situation is absolutely one of the best things ever, and I'm not implying "only at Turkey Day dinner" either. There are definitely a lot more uses for turkey than just Turkey Day.

However, I can't think of an appropriate use for lite beer or artificial sweeteners that involves actually consuming either. ;)

If there isn't already a religion which holds eating phenomenal food at every meal as the highest spiritual rite, consider it created. We can call it ... Tastyism.

Yea when it tries to be something it is not it is bad. it is like the 45 year old cross dressing tranny who was fat lost weight and got a boob job but did nothing with the penis or back hair. it just never will remind you of prom

Sam sat in front of the interviewer, desperate to conceal the fact that he had just chucked his lunch up through his sinus cavities. This job was too important for him to blow. If he could just get that voice out of his head.
