Ya's know's what I find interesting: Most of the debate seems to be focusing on Hornatzee and scullverine, with squidmarx close behind. Yet, ISM is in the lead.
It's almost like the media is focusing on the candidates that like to talk about, while the general voting public is going it's own way.

grass roots
Ha. It seeps down even to forums. Raptor was our personal Ron Paul, Squid Marx our Hillary, Sloth the Chris Dodd we all neglected, and Giraffe the guy from Law and Order with much press and no presence.
Being that I only support the round 1 competitors that start with S, ISM's quiet composure wigs me out.
Don't forget our pinko feel-good vote stealer can hoist himself up by only a pair of his powerful tentacles. He could pull a straight Wile E. Coyote on Skully: turn him in to a campfire, and then fling upwards to let him run right between his legs, giant question mark above his head.

dunno
Hmmm. good question.
We could either have the hybrid be some kind of two headed monstrosity, or do a day long forums vote off in this topic. I guess it falls to our mutual preference.
Actually, no, that's good. It's be a day vote off, (1) Yeti (2) Squid (3) Both
"Both" being for fans of something like this:

oops
Oops, yeh, my bad. It ends at midnight eastern on the Sunday of each two week session, meaning today, not yesterday. My bad, I had the dates off on the site - that's fixed.
I'm going to try and keep the round switch over clean and precise this time around, as the art and dossiers are already finished. Anyone wishing to get a jump on round 02 can check that at 12:05 of so. Norm handles things on the forum side.

PS: for any one wondering, Ruddog is a buddy of mine who hosts the beast site on a jury-rigged server in his apartment. Be not afraid of him, perhaps even sample of his movie reviews at http://www.ruddog.com/reviews/movies/

How did that happen? The yeti had pulled out to a pretty good lead a couple of hours ago. I registered my last vote for the squid thinking it was in vain... and it turns out to have been quite necessary in the scheme of things.
Let that be a lesson to all of you who don't think voting changes anything.
It's also a confirmation to those who think voting just encourages them.

It is with great sorrow that I confess that I was abducted by aliens from last Friday to this Tuesday, without access to the internet, and so was unable to register my support for my man, ISM. Those 3 lost votes were fatal, and now I feel responsible for his death.
I console myself with the thought that Squid Marx's communist cronies were undoubtedly behind my abduction, and such dirty tricks can be decisive in a close race. Look at Al Gore.
Okay, sorry about that.
