Even though I wasn't on Team Hellaphant, I like that the site votes are what ultimately determined the winner. I was afraid that the big vote blocks from phone calls and forum votes would make the site voting inconsequential, but it turned out to be a good balance.

I can agree with that. We (the editors, Adam, and myself) had a pow wow pre-podcast, about results. It was clear Hellaphant controlled its destiny with a sizable lead from, but it might have been possible to skew the results with a concentrated style point distribution to Vicious or Lucy. This potential future was willfully avoided with a scattering of style credit: we felt it was our place to accentuate voting trends and not to offset them, like some spoilsport electoral college of land owning dick-faces.
