As much as I loved Velasquez, I just couldn't vote for him to win this one. Sorry buddy, but you just weren't Mega enough.

I'd have expected the electrigator to stomp & chomp all over this one too, but not quite.

It looks like a close fight all around, but in the end the worser Cat won. Look at the pride glowing in it's nuclear powered eyes. Watch it victoriously pace back and forth across the plains with it's rocket powered prowess. THAT is a killing machine, gentlemen. And at the end of the day the only thing more frighting than the beast that IS is the idea of what that beast is about to BECOME.

And may God have mercy on our souls.
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. (Titus 3:3-7)

It's a fitting end for Velasquez, I suppose. He died in B&W animals, too.
Congrats Moonowl, well played!

The penguin was indeed a noble foe, as well as his worthy supporters!

And Hellcat's supporters gracious in their victory. Still, it would probably be in poor taste to attend the funeral. :D

In lieu of flowers, the supporters of PAINGUIN request a simple donation of money.

To me. :)

Bo, getting to enjoy not thinking about drawing Mega-beasts for 9 months or so.

Pretty much. I'll measure the successes of the season versus failures and retool the formula some. I think ranked voting versus single choice really helped keep competition close, and honest. I also thought tying a beast (Velasquez) to classic Drabblecast material was a wise choice. We've actually had some discussion about season 4 already. Interesting ideas are afoot, I think Drabblefans will be pleased.
