Damn you damn you damn you thrice, Pheno.

Here is a classic example of the downfall that comes from hubris.

I've already invested ALL of my billions of drabblebucks backing Kangiru.

Now you enter a last minute contestant that is going to emit a buzzing laugh at the threat of urethra invasion, if wasps even HAVE urethras, dunno, do I look like an entymologist to you?

Now I'm gonna be broke again.

No pimped out space "laser."

No Atlantean retreat.

No MM Love-puppet.

No DrabblePod.

I'm not even gonna be able to afford a f***ing drabblecast t-shirt.

Financial ruin, once again. :-(

Fom the core of my blackened and charred soul, I hate you.

:D

(edit: btw, you should you have spelled it badaZZ, it's not swearing if you use ZZ, there might be children present, after all)

ROU wants more Awesomeman to console himself over this financial catastrophe.

Bees not wasps ROU. I admit wasps (and hornets) are scarrier than bees, however Hive Mind is an homage to the aforementioned disaster movie classic.

Just call it Hives. Big red itchy weeping pustules. You're allergic to something, but you don't know what. Could be one of the competition. Could be one of the editors. Could even be Yo Momma. Seriously (just kidding) how can a swarm qualify as a single contestant?

Unless...of course... they are Siamese Bees

Not sure they could. Unless it was one self replicating bee. All I know is unless you're grafted on to someone else, or piloting the same mech, you walk on the field alone.

I worry with bees, they're dying in such numbers. Also, Hornaztee got pretty well flattened last year - I fear for this particular creature's efficacy as a Mega-Beast, even though its universal (hey we've all been stung at least once).

Any enhancements to that Jellyfish concept maybe?

PS, Jonathancg submitted his origin ideas, and they're all pretty kick-ass.

Indeed it could be contentious. I argue that the collective could be considered as a single combatant based upon the validity of 'a swarm of bees' as a B movie monster. Each individual is dumb as toast, but together form a malevolent super-organism.

I repeat, do I look like an entymologist?

Talk about kicking a guy when he's down, sheesh.

/raises white flag and runs crying to his bedroom.

(btw, my favorite scene in that movie was when Henry Fonda tested the anti-bee-venom on himself... If anyone deserved a "Hammy" for worst performance that year, it was him.)

So Kangiru is not the kangaroo in question. The urethra raiding powers fell to another competitor, who I would hope you love as if it was your own.

But you can also adopt, all I need is a good kangaroo / wallaby with demon powers name/

Well then, all bets are off. That's a load off of my urethra.

I'll anxiously look forward to seeing who you mated the Candiru with.

That's still the best field report we've gotten from Drabblenews, imo.

because StalinSays can't shut his damn communist mouth, some suggestions:

Rapier Tapir: A Tapir with the mastery of fencing. His charm and wit are as deadly as his sword. May or may not be a musketeer.

Huffin Puffin: A Puffin with the ability to inflate itself to 8 times its original size and then expel that excess air from its rather disproportionately large beak. It's huffin and puffin and blowin your house down.

Capyberetta: Part capybara, part baretta pistol.

Tarsier of the Third Circle: A Tarsier with giant mouths full of razer sharp teeth where its giant eyes should be. It's like 2 piranha duct taped together, plus Satan.

Okay, here goes: Konggaroo. He stuck Fay Wray in his pouch and jumped over the Empire State Building, packs a wallaby whallop, and comes from a really mysterious continent called Oceana, a dark, dreadful place called....*minor chord* *thunderclap*..... Down Under.

The spot is now Rapier Tapir's to lose. I know I say this a lot, but get ready folks, we're launching soon.
