Congratulations, Boris supporters. It will be interesting to see what a meth-addled, sword-wielding Bear can do. Chemical weapons and Russia go hand-in-hand, after all.

Also would have been more from me - but apparently the multi-vote checking mechanism is not a simple IP check, otherwise my wardriving effort would have worked...

That softens the wounds somewhat :) And I kept telling myself to jump on and vote, but I kept freakin' forgetting! Ah well, it will be fun to see how Boris does against his foes.

Yah, I voted 1.Boris 2.Lamb 3.Worm from about 11 spread out computers at work Sat-Sunday. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em I say. One thing we know about those commie bastards is that you definitely don't want to be in the weak opposition if and when they do rise to power.
It's safe to say that axiom also holds true for giant bears.

Sorry Lambchop, 'the song that never ends' lasts only as long as a man's will to sing it.

But when the dust settles, I assure you all that the stealthy woolen worm-bear monstrosity that rises from this unholy joining will undoubtedly be a worthy opponent to the flying invisible spike-tailed beetle-bull abomination currently pupating from Round 1.
Vive Le Deathmatch!

From what I understand we've got a little breather coming up involving a skirmish round for potential Round 3 Beasts. Bo will hit us up with some sketches of the contenders soon and we'll throw up a thread. Also, just in time for Halloween-- beast templates for pumpkin carving good times!

In the meantime-- have you ordered your set of Deathmatch cards yet? Why the hell not!? http://www.mega-beasts.com/cards.php

So now we know who the victor is, anyone want to speculate how the fight went?

Lamb Chops tried to hack Tommy with his sword and got it stuck. Then Boris lumbered over, tripped over Tommy's tail, and landed on them both, crushing them with his bulk.

Great, so we have a Ralph Wiggum-esque giant steroided bear fighting a special minotaur in the next round? Well, so long as noone throws anything shiny it could be fun.

Lamb Chops and Meth Worm were having an epic battle of colossally magnificent proportions while Boris was hibernating, and then Norm walked up with 12 robots and took out Chops and Meth with laser death rays. Boris woke up the victor.

Boris went directly after Tommy simply because he's the bigger target. Lamb Chops did likewise figuring the longer Tommy's in the fight, the more debilitating his spewing miasma becomes. After planting a few weapons into Tommy's hide, Lamb Chops was no longer armed to the teeth when Boris turned his attention on him. After landing many blows on Boris, Lamb Chop was staggered then killed by a lucky swipe of the claws followed by a bear hug.

That's my take. And for the record I was rooting for Tommy for reasons that had little to do with his admittedly funny name (ditto for Minotaurd). Still, I think Boris winning this round makes sense too.
