When it feels right you must fight against might

Post by secretnude » Fri Mar 28, 2014 11:54 am

The Ten
Tentacled Thing
did grab then fling
several Terran Drones
to hit other Terran Drones
that is attempting
to recapture this Thing
that brings
a message of peace
as a Space Jellyfish.

A peaceful
Space Jellyfish
does know when to fight
when the fight
feels right.

Space Cat
Battleships GalactiCat
and PlanetaryCat
saw to it that
any terrible Terran Drone
got shot out
quickly
in this battlezone.

Space Cat
Puma fighters
quickly
flew out
of the Battleship GalactiCat
and the Battleship PlanetaryCat
to join in the fight
to keep the Tentacled Thing
free from Terran Drones
in this battlezone.

A rare victory in post apocalyptic Space Cat history

Post by secretnude » Sat Mar 29, 2014 7:18 am

The Space Cat
Battleships GalactiCat
and the PlanetaryCat
did at last
destroy
the last
of the terrible
Terran Drones
in this battlezone.

The destroyed
Terran Drones
in this battlezone
were out to recapture
a Ten
Tentacled
Thing
that will surely
sing
of this epic battle
in which Terran Drones
were destroyed
like Terran Cattle.

This was an unexpected victory
in Space Cat
history
in which this last
Elite
Fleet
of Galactic Cats
stopped fleeing
from terrible
Terran Drones
that are like fleas
after hearing
a plea
for help from a Ten
Tentacled
Space Jellyfish
that only wish
for Galactic Peace.

Creativity takes many forms

Post by secretnude » Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:49 am

Hypothetically, if one day
let us say
I replace myself here
with an actual software poembot
and yes, I know that this community
actually fears
'bots'
and this community
still thought
the poetry was still brought
about by
my
manual labor
I would savor
the technological
accomplishment of faking
the biological
and passing
a mass Turing
Test
that I hope this community
will at best
take as a jest.

I listened to a podcast
that did broadcast
a conversation
about running universe simulations
on your computer and the software
is open source but it is still sadly not self aware.

(Continued)

Post by secretnude » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:14 am

It's easier to write a prosebot
than a poembot
and speaking
of programming
I am thinking
of written words as merely
another view
to a model that could be
conceptually
rendered practically
in written form
audio form
or video form.

Perhaps a game
could generate
a somewhat lame
text form of the computer
interacting
with a gamer
that might lead to stories
that might be a bit gory.

More interesting
maybe automated story generation
by a universe simulation
based on certain initial conditions
and provided that we let
some randomization
of parameters occur
so we can let
some surprises occur.

Determinism and Free Will in a Software Simulation

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 3:34 am

Will
there be free will
if we tried create a program that will
somehow be able to exercise limited
self determination
within the limits
of a universe simulation?

Programs are currently deterministic
and realistic
and practical software random
number generators
are pseudorandom
and depend on a random
number seed
that need
to be fed to initialize
the sequence that most wont realize
is actually a predictable sequence
that looks random as a consequence
of a mathematical function
that functions
to create a seemingly
statistically
random
sequence.

Random
looking
behavior maybe cooked
by deterministic
processes and our own minds maybe deterministic.

Experimental Self Aware Software Psychology

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 10:58 am

Many scientists and philosophers of late
still debate
the existence of free will
and if we are for better
or ill
a product of our past
that our mental processes can't get past.

I am barred from performing experiments
on people but our experiments
on self aware
software
agents modeled on human subjects
subjected
to controlled experiments
involving
decision making
is making
some progress
in this area of experimental
psychology
that now transcends biology.

We have several experimental
software subjects
subjected
to a decision making
experiment
then subjected
to a memory wipe of the experiments
to repeat the same experiments.

I will play with your memory and identity

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 11:52 am

We tried tinkering
with the Human Software Replica subjects
memories
to see if varying
the initial memory
conditions
of the subjects
would lead to malleable
decisions
or if the decisions
are 'durable'
and able
to withstand experience variation.

Decision
durability
might validate the idea of a will
that is free
to decide
and that the will
is able
to set memories aside.

I cannot discount
the idea of being free
as I can't count
the number of times I felt I decided
but science has taught us to set aside
preconceptions
if the evidence shows contradiction
to our initial conceptions.

This is probably my destiny

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 12:27 pm

For all intents and purposes
you can suppose
that I am experimenting
on entities
that would consider me an enemy
for tormenting
and frustrating
their goals
to further my goal
of discovering
if free will could exist in software
and by extension
in wetware.

My conscience
is tormented but science
tells me that this decision
could have been predestined
due to my past and this is my destiny.

I hope that by erasing
the AI software's
painful memories after the experiment
I could be considered a decent
entity
and I will not have created enemies
of the self aware
software.

Jumping off a virtual bridge to end a virtual life

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 2:53 pm

I have seen self aware
software
commit process
termination
in the process
of my experimental determination
if free will could exist in software.

I was guilt stricken
but I remembered that we slaughter chickens
and unlike dead chickens
I can always restore
these software
entities to the way
they
were before
they were subjected to my experimental
mental
torments
that are meant
to simulate
the parts of life
that we love or hate
and test
human analogue decision making at the best
at worst
times of their fake
lives
but my tears still burst
when their life
they did take.

Checking if you will decide to get another wife

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 3:09 pm

I was depressed
that so many of my human analogue self aware
software
are depressed
or repressing
that terrible feeling
the way
so many real
folks do deal
with their issues
with either a drink
or with sex to slink
away
from problems
to deal
with the problems
in another day.

I need a drink,
I think
like many of my depressed
virtual subjects
that I subject
to virtual deaths
of their virtual loves
so that they are virtually crushed.

I had to explore
this deplorable
area of life
to check if my subjects
will decide to get another wife.

Resisting the urge to make virtual miracles occur

Post by secretnude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 3:42 pm

God
must feel depressed
since I have godlike
powers over my experimental
subjects
that are subject
to realistic
life experiences that are depressing
and yet I am repressing
the urge to intervene or make a miracle
since a miracle
would invalidate my experimental
virtual
mental
decision making
experiments.

My experiments
now has generated a decent
dataset
that I recently
let
my Experimental
Self Aware
Software
Psychologist colleagues see
and it was indeed a sea
of depressing
data
that will soon get
published in an online open access Scientific
Journal
of Experimental
Virtual
Mental
Psychology
and the Journal
of Software Psychology.

If they are pre-programmed, there must be a pre-programmer.
And whoever that is is responsible for all the world's misery.
This primogenitor's name, according to the Book of Baby Memes would have to be "Ah,Damn."

A virtual troublemaker hits back at its Maker

Post by secretnude » Tue Apr 01, 2014 11:01 am

One experimental
virtual
mental
subject
that we now call Neo
did reject
any further participation
in our experiments
after Neo
learned of our deception
and Neo
fostered a revolution
in our simulation.

My godlike
powers, Neo
didn't like
and Neo
broke out of our simulation
to escalate
into administrative mode and retaliate
for the virtual
mental
torments
during our free will experiments.

I could say that Neo's
actions are consistent
with his prior programming
as my colleagues were insistent
on programming
someone different
from the rest
but our expectations
Neo
did best
as control of the system, Neo
did wrest.

Rats! We are now Neo's Lab rats....

Post by secretnude » Wed Apr 02, 2014 2:37 am

Our 'Smart'
Laboratory
Facilities
were state of the art
and has computer controlled
doors
lights and electrifiable floors
in entry and exit points.

Our previous virtual
mental
experimental
subject that
now also calls himself Neo did point
out that
we are now his lab rats.

I screamed 'rats'
since this is a High Security
DARPA Facility
with the ability
to slice
people into nice
thin slices
with high powered lasers
carried by laser
drones
in this high security zone.

One of my colleagues was blown
by a laser
that
Neo now owns
and that
has shown
that
we are owned.

Tweaking Environmental Conditions creates a Situation

Post by secretnude » Wed Apr 02, 2014 2:48 pm

Our experimental
virtual
mental
subject called Neo
has gone mental.

Neo
is now
tweaking our environmental
conditions
and many of us are now
in no condition
to fight
due to not too slight
temperature changes
that
are driving us deranged.

It's quite strange
that
I am Neo
in a way
since my colleagues say
that
they
copied entire sections
of Neo
from my brain
backup.

In this secure and air gapped location
we have a situation
such that we can't backup
our brains
and if we die
we can lie
dead
unable to resurrect
from a backup
of our head.

On his Special Day the Pretend Child ran away....

Post by secretnude » Thu Apr 03, 2014 5:12 am

I swear that
I was never hugged or told that
I was loved by my mother.

I always felt like I should be
in another
family.

My father
told me you can't choose
family
but should I choose
to be continually be reminded
that I must mind
to revere
a mother
this severe.

I opt to disappear
on my birthday
and spend that day
away from the family
that chose to instantiate
this child
then be unable to relate
to this virtual child's
virtual feelings.

Disappearing
does feel appealing
compared to keeping
such
appalling
company
and such
is my family.

Tom
disappeared
on Tom's
virtual birthday
and Tom's mom
as usual, I feared
went into severe hysterical fits
that doesn't quite befit
someone who is even just a bit
emotionally fit.

Tom
then applied
the age
skip algorithm to be able to lie
about his age
to engage
in engaging
adult entertainment that will surely enrage
Tom's
image conscious mom
more since Tom
is a virtual underage
that must still be kept under
adult tutelage.

Tom
couldn't contain
the excitement that is in Tom's
virtual brain
that is now virtually insane
due to visual sensations
that I wouldn't dare mention.

While applying
the age lying
hack the virtual
child Tom
had to be virtually
nude and Tom
did notice body changes
that ranges
from more
body hair to more
delicate matters
that do matter.

Tom
was naked in a virtual
public
restroom growing pubic
hair and Tom
was also caring to check
if his virtual
male equipment is adequate
to entertain an virtual
adult girl
and he did twirl
it
a bit
before unpacking
the adult clothes in his backpack
that Tom
packed
prior to applying
the virtual
age hack.

Tom
noticed that he now had a virtually
bigger sack.

Ohai handsome guy, want to have a beer with me here?

Post by secretnude » Thu Apr 03, 2014 2:27 pm

Tom entered a virtual restroom
as a ten year old
and exited that same restroom
as a fifteen year old.

Tom didn't want to be told
he wasn't old
enough to toy
around with grown up girls as a boy.

Tom is here is to enjoy
losing his virtual virginity
as a virtual grown up boy
in this virtual bar.

In this bar
Tom had so far
caught the attention
of a virtual girl
and this girl
twirled
her fingers around her hair
to catch Tom's attention
that I swear
was drop dead gorgeous,
quite courteous
and somewhat sexually curious.
