continued from above....packet of 100 words

I think it ranks first in Google
only if you Google
'secretnude'
and ranks lower with 'secret nude'

I am no SEO expert, more of a coder.

I was surprised to discover
my thread gradually climb
as I added more rhymes.

In due time I might slow
as some of you might know
I am doing this in my downtime
and when I am fine, my time
will be taken up by real work.

Hence while I am making fun
work
for myself, I take you all for a fun
ride as I drive this thread
to infinity. I dread.

(Alien) cold war arms race we face

Post by secretnude » Fri Jan 31, 2014 10:41 am

TCF Enterprise,
Enterprise
Captain Jane's blog,
We have completed a scan
for hostile Kilrat ships an logged
them to the neonet as we can
get too comfortable given
that an armistice is in place
even
with a race
as warlike as the Kilrats.

The Kilrats
don't have enough antimatter
to make antimatter
weapons
that matter
in the battlefield
yet but soon they will be able field
their own antimatter
weapons.

It will be an arms race
reminiscent of the one the world faced
with nuclear bombs ages ago.

Terran nukes,
we never did forgo
and were rarely used
or abused.

Captain Jane's thoughts on the Kilrat (Alien) war

Post by secretnude » Fri Jan 31, 2014 11:06 am

TCF Enterprise,
Enterprise
Captain Jane's blog supplemental
We think faster than our enemies
and that had led to victories
in the battlefield due to our neurochips.

The Kilrats don't have neurochips
out of a desire to stay pure,
pure
from artificial enhancements.

Our mental enhancements
and biological enhancements
are shared within our Cyborg
Federation and we want more Cyborgs
in our happy collective hive mind.

We find
that genius truly flourished
when we shared and nourished
each others thoughts
and that was was brought
us in many space battles victory
after victory
and the rest is as they say history.

(Alien) biped mice that are precise and very nice

Post by secretnude » Fri Jan 31, 2014 12:32 pm

"We are not of the Cyborg Federation
or the Kilrat Dominion"
said a race of nice
evolved bipedal Mice.

Mice
call themselves Swis
and the Mice
are punctual
and precise.

Captain Jane of the Cyborg Federation
liked the Mice
and gave the Mice
Swiss cheese
which the Mice
loved.

Mice
loved
Swiss Cheese
a lot
that the Federation got
a trading relationship.

We cannot give to these nice
Mice
our neurochip
technology as they are not hip
to joining our Cyborg Federation.

Maybe in a generation
of these Mice
that are nice
we may learn to trust
these strange Mice.

A genocidal technological (Alien) race

Post by secretnude » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:12 pm

We met a Technological
race
whose biological
predecessor they erased.

They regret their act of genocide
and did decide
to reconstruct
their former masters as we instruct
before we allow them to have
minimal relations
with the Cyborg Federation.

Genocide
of any race is inexcusable
and we will never allow this terrible
race of machines to join
our Federation.

They may decide to join
the Kilrat Dominion
which has less moral compunction
about letting genocidal
technological
races into their sphere.

Cyborg Federation
fears
any disruption
bad or unstable minds
might create
or help instigate
in our collective galactic hive mind.

NAtional NOvel WRIters MOnth,
I heard from another podcast
that broadcast
SciFi writers.

I never attended a writer's
workshop .

I don't know if I have the chops
to make it as a writer.

Doing this drabble thread
until enough people have read
and given feedback
either good or bad,
I will be glad.

I started this thread only
couple of moons
ago
and I now have this to show.

Hopefully soon ,
I will go back
to my day job and not be sad
that I didn't attempt
to tempt
fate
that as a writer
I am not to hate.

If you're feeling like a challenge, you should give NaNoWriMo a shot when November rolls around. It's a blast, and it's great if you really want to grow as a writer, because there's nothing like writing 50,000 words in 30 days to get you thinking about writing all the time. :)

I thought maybe NaNoWriMo
could be made into a Novel Rhyme Month
for me,
given the output here you see.

I also thought initially this was a National (i.e. US) only deal
as the deal
is 'I am not an American'.

I can write about American
topics since your (if you are American)
culture is so dominant
that it displaces local cultures
like ours
given I have consumed hours
of your culture.

British culture
comes next as I sometimes
like to spell stuff
their peculiar way to at times
be a bit stuffy
and stiff
with my upper lip.

Nah, it's "national" in name only. :) I guess it's just called that because it started in the United States, but fortunately it's more of an international affair these days. And yes, there are poets who participate too! The rules are really flexible so you can adapt it to whatever projects you're working on. This last year, I wrote 50,000 words worth of short stories instead of a novel, because that's what I wanted to do.

I think it would be really hard to write 50,000 words of poetry given how much more effort it takes. But maybe you could do a fraction of that, to account for the difficulty? Maybe, I dunno, 5,000 words?

Most of the poems I wrote
took only minutes and I vote
to write in this manner
as style does matter.

In a sea of drabble
prose
an island of drabble
poetry arose
arising
from the fertile fields
of my imagination that yields
unfailing rhymes
all the time.

50000 words is only 500 drabble poems.

Poems
only take
so little time to make
for me
so I don't bother to back 'em up, you see.

I also parodied American Cultural
Superiority in one of my several
poems
to which I provide a link.

The poem
was written in a blink.

(Alien) Space Whales wail loss of cultural identity

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 1:40 am

"Let us go to *Bucks Coffee
as I like the Terran
Ambiance
and by chance
I also do like their Terran
coffee
too", said a hipster Tau Ceti
Cetacean.

Many Tau Ceti
Cetaceans
have abandoned centuries old traditions for the new Cyborg Terran
norm
as informed
by Terran
cultural exports
as Whale
academics
do report.

Biped academic
Whales
wail
at the gross
loss
of identity
and Cetacean
Traditions.

Some
Academic Cetaceans
have grown some
enmity
for the Terran
dominated Cyborg Federation
but still thankful for being saved
from the Space Cat
Kilrat
enemy
as it was quite a close shave.

Tau Ceti (Alien) Society Primer for Terrans

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 4:41 am

Tau Ceti
is subject to regular meteor strikes.

When the meteors strike
the biped amphibious Tau Ceti
Cetaceans
retreat to the deep ocean
for safety until the ground
could be found
suitable for Cetacean
needs.

Most Cetaceans
indeed
still believe in a Whale god
and continue to pray
to that god
to prevent meteor strikes
even if prayer
has proved ineffective.

Their Whale
president is ineffective
too
in the view
of most Whales
as he failed
to deliver on essential
goods
like food

When essential
goods
like food
is short,
some
Whales do resort
petty crime
during some
desperate times.

The one percent (Alien) Whales

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:06 am

There is an Cadre of biped Cetaceans
that do not escape to the oceans
when meteors do strike.

Elite Cetaceans
have huge floating palaces
on water that Cetaceans
move
around before a meteor does strike.

The floating palace
just takes a hike
and move
to a place safe.

Unless the masses do chafe
and revolt
at the revolting
inequality
in the quality
of life and the prevent the floating
palace
from moving.

This is proving
to be a problem for the 1% Whales
that like to stay dry and inhale
air on dry ground,
hence Whale
security guards were found.

(Alien) pigs that dig higher maths did cross path with man

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:43 am

HiggsPigs
is a race of bipedal Alien pigs
better than Humans at Math.

HiggsPigs
had a different technological
path
before the first contact
event that
gave birth to the contract
between the races
that
erased
the technological
differences.

Difference
was that
a HiggsPig can do Higher Maths
without training as neuronal paths
have been biologically
enhanced
by chance.

Neurochip
in a Cyborg Human
chips
away at that biological
advantage and gives a Human
superior abilities to a HiggsPig.

HiggsPigs
did dig
getting Terran neurochips
since being better at Math is hip
and their
Advanced Physics the HiggsPigs
cared
to share.

(Alien) Tau Ceti Cetaceans preparing for a meteor storm

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 7:02 am

A severe Tau Ceti
meteor storm was forecasted.

The biped amphibious Tau Ceti
Cetaceans
were dejected.

Once again the masses retreat
into the oceans
deep
to keep
safe.

Relatively safe
where the elite Tau Ceti
Cetaceans
in their mobile floating
palaces
that can move to places
safe.

In one of these palaces
all is not well as the poor Whale
maids
wailed
about the fate of their relatively
poorer
relatives.

Whale
maids
had an incentive
to smuggle
relatives
into the safe palace.

Maids
were inventive
and some did manage to smuggle
in some whales
sons before the palace set sail.

Fail Whale (Alien) planet after a natural calamity

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 7:30 am

Tau Ceti meteor storm
was terrible.

Meteor storm
was able
to destroy
20% of the planet like old Troy.

Surviving biped amphibious Tau Ceti
Cetaceans
were dejected.

Deep in the oceans
masses of naked Cetaceans
are safe
but with nary a property saved.

Elites
watched meteors hit land and ocean
on their neonet links,
or so I think.

Elites
are comfortable and dry
but they did cry
at the sad fate
that their poor kin did await.

After the meteor storm passed
the masses storm at last
to feeding areas to fight for rations.

Due to hunger they abandoned caution.

Its a Epic Fail (Alien) Whale Tragedy

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 7:45 am

Tau Ceti was 20% destroyed
like old Terran Troy
by a meteor storm that passed
and the masses storm at last
to feeding areas to fight for rations.

However, the Fail Whale
Rations
were short
and some biped whales
abort
the futile task
to ask
for relief goods
that are mostly not that good.

Hence, masses starved
and in this planet life is mostly hard.

Elites were fine
as they dined
on imported Terran wine
and Terran food
that is so good.

Masses of poor naked whales
did mostly fail
to eat
and simply slept off their hunger in defeat.

This planet is a fail as accepted by (Alien) whales

Post by secretnude » Sat Feb 01, 2014 8:07 am

Tau Ceti was 20% destroyed
like old Terran Troy
by a meteor storm that passed.

The masses starved
as emergency rations were carved.

The Meteor
Trajectory
was a Fail Whale
story
as some meteors
hit areas deemed safe destroying
some Floating Whale
Palaces while their owners wailed
decrying
the incompetence
of the bureaucracy
of the Fail Whale
Planetary
Defence
Council.

The Defence
Council
remained on the fence
as masses of biped
Whales
were not fed.

Many Whales were dead.

Many sad events
that the Defense
Council can prevent
but due to limited funds
most Whales
just wail
say they understand.
