maybe this question is a bit delayed because I've been listening for, like, years, but is the volume of the podcast kinda low, even compared to other podcasts? I have to turn the volume to 100% but it's still hard to hear sometimes. I need Norm's voice booming from my 'puter!
Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.

Not that I've noticed except on maybe 1 or 2 episodes (and none for years). And volume is such a pet peeve of mine that I put every single episode of any podcast I listen to, through my own audio processing batch job (which normalizes volume, as well as fixes a multitude of sins). DC is the only podcast where I listen to parts of almost every episode before it is so processed.

Do you have an explicit example you can point us to?

What device /software/versions do you listen on?

Do you listen to the .m4a or the .mp3 version?

Does your player have any "auto gain" settings on. These often backfire, especially iTunes/iPod and "Sound Check" or "EQ" or equalizers.
