I had hoped today to try some subtle gradients and other effects, but time has been short. Maybe a simple thing like giving the box corners a small radius, like the forum banner.

I do these things for my own enjoyment as much as anything else. GIMP is deceptively easy to use, but has a lot of features I rarely use. Exploring software featrues is one of my secret pleasures :)

On a related note: Adobe sucks! (But the other guys are even suckier! :( )

I refuse to use Photoshop, mainly 'cos it costs :) but also because I want to support the GIMP devs.
