Even dead authors are writing CWBF stories... Sort of...

Not exactly brand new, but has anyone else read H.G. Wells's short story, The Stolen Bacillus?

You can jump right to it on Wikisource

http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Stolen_Bacillus

Or the Gutenberg version is probably better proof read, plus they have it with a whole load of other stories in the same book

http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/12750

At the end of the story, The Cat With Blue Fur definitely puts in a cameo. 8)

Good find. :)

I moved this to the CwBF discussion area because it's related.

Did a quick scan of the story (I'll read it properly later), and see the blue theme. I don't see the cat bit yet.

I wasn't sure if I should put it in here or not, so I took what I thought was the conservative choice. But I bow to your Iron Fist.

Don't want to spoil it for anyone who likes a bit of Wells but hasn't read this one yet, but a Blue Cat is mentioned at the end. ;)

Also two puppies and a sparrow.

Not to worry. I's got a nice coating of dried blood, to soften the blows. :P
